Volunteer Befrienders offer a one-to-one supportive friendship.
Young Persons' Befriending Service -
A Service for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are lonely, isolated or experiencing difficulty with day-to-day life.
InTouch Stirling Information Service -
A database of services in Stirling District via website and local 'information surgeries' are held.
Home Support Service -
Clients are supported at home with practical, emotional and social support.
Counselling Service -
One to one person centred counselling.
Money and Benefits Advice Service -
Assistance is given with money management, benefits claims and debt issues.
Rural Access Service -
Clients living in rural areas are supported at home with practical, emotional and social support.
Drop-In and Groups Service -
Open Monday to Friday 12pm - 4pm and Sunday 1pm to 4pm. A wide range of activities and groups are organised.
Approaches to Choosing Life Service -
Facilitates opportunities for organisations to work together in partnership on a range of training and educational programmes pertaining to the promotion of good mental health and well-being, suicide intervention ect,
Postnatal (Depression) Support Group -
The Group address the expressed needs of women identified with risk factors for postnatal depression.
Older People's Support Service - "Ageing Well"
The Group provides a community service for older people living in the Stirling Council area, over the age of 60 years, experiencing or recovering from mental ill health.
Information and Advice Service -
In any given year SDAMH will assist over 500 people through this initial enquiry Service. This can be in the form of 'one-off' assistance/advice/information, or people looking to use one or more of the Services for the first time, or it may be a crisis call.
