Background
It is a fundamental requirement for people who experience mental ill-health and their carers to know what Services are available to them.
Borne out of this is the InTouch Stirling Information Service, which is our user-friendly database of resources developed for users of Mental Health Services, their carers, statutory agencies or any member of the public and covers Stirling District area.
The InTouch Stirling Information Service has an Information Worker and trained volunteers, who assist in a variety of ways.
Accessible Information
At the touch of a button, you can find out about Services and in order to ensure that the information is accessible; Information Sessions are run in a range of urban and rural venues e.g. Libraries, Health Centres, Benefits Agency, and GPs Surgeries etc. It is also possible for the information to be downloaded and printed out, if required.

Users Guide
The database allows you to search for specific services by category or by using ‘Key’ words, to help you find what you need. It can also be browsed through for ideas.
In order for the information to be as current as possible, it is updated regularly. Volunteers assist in the collation of the information for this database.
